The Custom Portal Era 2017-2018

Sometimes you don’t get to replace the old system. Sometimes you put a shiny new frontend on it, and pretend everything is fine.

Custom Front-end for Sharepoint

Custom Front-end for Sharepoint

Built with: HTML, CSS, ASP, CAML queries, Photoshop

My work:

This fully-custom frontend for Sharepoint used a Bootstrap-like design. I wrote the HTML and CSS, designed the icons and graphics and crafted the ASP/CAML queries to handle the dynamic integration work that pulled data from Sharepoint lists.

The Executive Dashboard That Sat on Top of Everything

The Executive Dashboard That Sat on Top of Everything

Built with:
PHP, HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

My work:

I designed and built a dashboard for things that already existed. It was a custom news feed application that consolidated internal communications from multiple sources into a single experience.

The project included full desktop and mobile mockups, custom graphics, branding and a PHP-based application built to match the designs. It aggregated internal news and email content into a simpler, trackable interface.

This was also my first (and only) experiment with Adobe Illustrator.
